ACT OF REPARATION TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS

L/: Open my lips, Lord.

R/: And my voice shall utter praise.

L/: My God, be graciously attentive to my favor.

R/: Lord, attend to my help quickly.

L/: Glory be to the Father, glory be to the Eternal Son, glory be to the Holy Spirit.

R/: For ever and ever. Amen.

OFFERING:

O most sweet Heart of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament! We are pierced with sorrow and pain, to see You so injured by our sins, and the others that are committed throughout the world, represented in these signs of wounds, cross and thorns, we consecrate to Your love and atonement this crown of praise. Accept them, my Jesus, in union with all the praises with which the just of heaven and earth have glorified you and now glorify you. Amen. I. O most loving Heart of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament! It weighs heavily on our souls to see you so injured by our sins and the other sins by which sinners all over Europe have offended you and are offending you at the present time. In reparation for all of them, uniting our lukewarm affections with the most ardent affections of your Most Holy Mother Mary, we consecrate to you the first part of your crown, with an atonement and ten praises:

L/: Long live Jesus

R/: Death to sin (once)

L/: May he be praised forever

R/: The Heart of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament (ten times)

REPEATING: 

L/: O Heart of Jesus! We beseech you

R/: That no one may live or die in sin.

II. O most loving Heart of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament! It weighs heavily on our souls to see you so insulted by our sins and the sins with which sinners throughout the world have offended you and are offending you at the present time. In reparation for all of them, uniting our lukewarm affections with the most ardent affections of the holy Apostles and other martyrs of heaven, we consecrate to you the third part of your crown, with an atonement and ten praises: 

L/: Long live Jesus 

R/: Let sin die (once) 

L/: Be praised forever 

R/: The Heart of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament (ten times)
