NOVENA TO ST. MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL

 PRAYERS FOR EVERY DAY:
I, a sinner... St. Michael, first among the Princes of Heaven, I offer you my praise and devotion, because God has created you so excellent and so perfect and endowed you with such great zeal for His glory and such admirable submission to His divine decrees. 

Prayer of Leo XIII:
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and the snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits that prowl throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. 

Heavenly and most pure messenger of God, deign to obtain for me from the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary a true love for Them, submission to the divine Will and the grace to... (Make here the petition you wish to obtain with the novena). 

Pray an Our Father, three Hail Marys and Glory Be.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, Thy kingdom come.
Blessed and praised be the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary, Mother of God and our Mother. 

DAY ONE
Immaculate Mary, Mother and sweet Mediatrix, Queen of Heaven, we humbly beseech You to intercede for us. Pray to God to send St. Michael and his angels to remove the obstacles that oppose the reign of the Sacred Heart in the world.  

SECOND DAY

Saint Michael, Angel of holy battles, I offer you my praise and devotion for the ineffable pleasure with which God looks upon you as the defender of his glory.

THIRD DAY
St. Michael, Angel of Victory, with devotion I praise you for the joy with which Our Lord Jesus Christ looks upon you as zealous defender of his divinity and the victories you win over the enemies of our souls. 

FOURTH DAY
St. Michael, Minister of the Most High, with devotion I praise you for the tenderness with which the Blessed Virgin looks upon you, seeing the battles you have fought and are fighting unceasingly to establish the reign of her beloved Son, our God and Redeemer, in the world. 

FIFTH DAY
Saint Michael, Guardian of Heaven, I praise you with devotion for the veneration, love and honor, that the celestial hierarchies, of which you are the august Prince, render to you.

SIXTH DAY

St. Michael, Angel of the Holy Sacrifice, I praise you with devotion for the honor which our Lord Jesus Christ has done you by entrusting to you the custody of the Church, his beloved spouse, and I offer you the recognition and love which the Holy Church professes for you.

SEVENTH DAY
St. Michael, Bearer of the banner of salvation, I offer you my praises with devotion for the important mission God has given you in entrusting to you the souls of all the predestined, defending them at the hour of death from the assaults of hell, presenting them before God entirely pure.

EIGHTH DAY
St. Michael, Angel of Peace, I praise you with devotion for all the strength, sweetness and gentleness enclosed in your holy name, the delight of your true devotees.

NINTH DAY
Saint Michael, Angel of Forgiveness, I praise you with devotion for the immense benefits that you have poured out on our country, whenever it has been faithful to God, as well as for the abnegation, recognition and love that your servants render to you. Deign, we beseech you, to obtain from the Hearts of Jesus and Mary an increase in your devotees in order to obtain salvation.
