Fill out your personal information and details of those traveling with you, a health statement, and information on vaccines administered or recovery.
Present an entry statement form confirmation: Both a digital and a physical copy can be presented.
Keep the confirmation until after the crossing in the border control in Israel, and make it available for inspection if needed.
The local agency in Israel assigns you to one of the hotels called "Covid" so that you can carry out the quarantine (5 to 10 days, depending on your situation). The pilgrim does not incur any extra expenses, since he is covered by the travel insurance that Israel requires before entering.
The pilgrim must follow the medical regulations of the country in which they are located, generally it is to keep the quarantine for 5 to 10 days.
If the pilgrimage has not concluded, you can continue with the group the rest of the time, otherwise you will return to your country of origin.
IMPORTANT: It is advisable to purchase travel insurance that covers everything related to Covid.
PEREGRINACIONES GUADALUPANAS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR EXPENSES INCURRED DUE TO COVID.
The Department of State has a Traveler Enrollment Program under the acronym:
S.T.E.P. It is a free service and is available for anyone to sign up on their own. The information you provide allows the US Embassy to contact you in the event of an emergency. You'll also receive the latest travel advisory updates from the closest US Embassy or Consulate to where you're traveling.
(NOTE; ONLY AMERICAN CITIZENS CAN USE THIS PROGRAM)
In April 2021, the US Department of State reported that the passport renewal process could take up to 12 weeks, up from 4-6 weeks previously. Make sure to update your passport in plenty of time before you travel. In most countries it is requested that the passport be valid for more than 6 months, taking as reference the date of return from the pilgrimage.
